About position

We are an award winning, Swiss company, that is changing the way we recycle plastic. Founded in 2020, we are a team of young, dynamic dedicated entrepreneurs who are committed to solving the plastic problem. Having built and optimised our pilot plant, we are in the process of construction of 500T per year showcase plant. We are also continually innovating, developing and optimising our DePoly process for PET recycling, but also advancing our techniques to recycle other consumer and industrial based plastic wastes. To assist in these ambitious aims, we are looking to expand our team by hiring an Electrical and Instrument Engineer.

Responsibilities you'll be handling:
  • Designing, implementing, maintaining and improving electrical products and systems.
  • Preparing detailed E&I design deliverables e.g., circuit and schematic diagrams, control panel layouts, MCC layouts, cable routes etc.
  • Supervising the E&I project installation phase, testing, commissioning work and assist in start-up of systems including instrumentation configuration and set up validation, troubleshooting of electrical, and software Issues.
  • Ensuring that electrical, instrument and control schemes operate within the framework of national and company standards namely DSEAR and ATEX legislation.
  • Preparation of punch list to ensure that the contractor rectifies all items before client final commissioning and client acceptance.
  • Providing technical assistance to maintenance instrument technician/electricians.
We expect you to have these skills:
  • BSc/BEng degree in Electrical Engineering or Technical Trade equivalent.
  • 5+ years of work experience in an industrial environment, or a solid foundation in the technology sector.
  • Hands on experience with industrial electrical and automation especially process control instrumentation.
  • Experience in commissioning and start-up of plants and production lines.
  • Experience in ATEX instrumentation is a plus.
  • Work to deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and supportively with a broad range of individuals with different levels of education and experience.
  • Be fluent in English and have an intermediate knowledge of French.
  • Have a Swiss working permit or be eligible to work in Switzerland.
